MAN OF IRON
series of 3 C-prints
100 x 80 cm
or installation with video and series of photographs
Man of Iron is a photographic work about Stalin’s grandson, that investigates
the visual language of propaganda by means of a man that is the spitting image
of the iconic image of Josef Stalin; Stalin's grandson.
Stalin’s grandson, Yevgeni Jugashivili does not only look like Stalin,
but he adores him too, allthough he never met him and Stalin sacrificed
his own son, Jugashvili's father, without pity in the Second World War.
