When I went to stay with a journalist friend in Eastern (Palestinian) part of Jerusalem, I desperately wanted to find ways to capture

the political tension between the Jewish and Palestinian side of this city.

I discovered that the polaroids I took, when I was hiding out in my appartment from all that tension in the outside world, were the images

that were my best attempt.
